Safe & Together™ Model
Supervisor Training Credential

Instructor-led training offered in a live virtual setting!

In order to effectively support domestic violence–informed practice in a child protection system, supervisors and managers must have an understanding of domestic violence and its impact on families as well as on those they supervise.

This course reviews the foundational principles and components of the Safe & Together Model through the lens of the supervisory role. The course introduces a coaching framework for supervision in order to
  • best assess and support workers’ skill development,
  • address workers’ safety concerns that impact practice, and
  • provide domestic violence–informed case guidance and decision-making.
