This sector-specific, skills-based training packages includes a curated combination of our high quality e-courses PLUS focused virtual sessions facilitated live by our expert staff and faculty
The Family Court of Australia has made significant efforts to ensure that the family court process is sensitive and responsive to domestic violence. This training is designed to help Family Consultants take the next steps in their practice. It uses a Model that has been adopted by many child serving agencies in Australia and internationally—the Safe & Together Model—a domestic violence assessment and case management Model designed specifically with the goal of improving practice in the context of domestic violence and children.
In this unique package, we combine three of our most popular E-Courses with three 90-minute, instructor-led practice sessions to enhance the skills of family consultants in applying the Safe & Together Model to day-to-day skills, including how to use the language of the perpetrator pattern-based approach to improve assessments, family reports, and recommendations to the court.
