Course Objectives

As a result of this training package, you will:

  • Be able to describe the foundational principles and components of the Safe & Together Model;
  • Be able to describe the Multiple Pathways to Harm assessment framework; 
  • Understand the relevance of the Model’s principles, components and Multiple Pathways to Harm assessment framework to domestic violence screening;
  • Better connect the dots between domestic violence, substance abuse and mental health reports;
  • Have improved skills for screening cases for the risk of domestic violence perpetrators to children;
  • Have improved skills for addressing worker safety for new investigations and family assessments during the screening process.
